DESCRIPTION:Democratic candidates WILL BE running for local election this f
 all. If there was ever a time to step up it is now. Democrats have a great
  opportunity to put people in office for years to come but it has to start
  here\, at the local level. If it doesn't start here it can't grow into a 
 movement.\n\nIt’s campaign season. Petitions are out\, and we want to ed
 ucate our membership on how to get out and canvass\, so we can hit the gro
 und running assisting with the Democratic campaigns in the County. In orde
 r to help our members learn about the campaigning process\, we’re hostin
 g a panel of speakers with campaign experience\, and will have canvassing 
 “kits” to give to members and “Campaigning 101” handouts for all.\
 n\nThis meeting will be held at the Public Library in Saratoga Springs\, N
 Y\, we’ve reserved the Dutcher Community Room so we can set up the panel
  of speakers and theater style seating for our audience. Step out\, speak 
 up\, and don’t miss your chance to learn about political campaigns and h
 ow you can help SCYD canvass for local Democratic candidates! This event i
