Disabled people, our families, and friends know what’s at stake and just how wonderful our president, Joe Biden is, because he has shown up for and with us for decades. We are forever indebted to President Biden and deeply grateful for his selfless commitment to democracy and the future of our country.
We also know that once officially nominated and elected, Kamala Harris will lead us forward towards not only implementing and enforcing our hard-won disability rights laws, but truly advancing an unwavering commitment to Disability Justice and the elimination of all forms of oppression. We know this because Kamala has consistently championed policies and initiatives that align with our values of equity, inclusion, and justice for all.
We can no longer sit back and wait for someone to organize our community in support of Democrats. We are reaching out to you as a dedicated member of our community who recognizes the profound impact that political leadership can have on our lives, particularly in advocating for the rights, accessibility, and inclusion of all people with disabilities.
As we approach the most important election of our lives on November 5th, we are excited to invite you to join an informal national coalition dedicated to supporting the election of Kamala Harris, and Democrats up and down the ballot over the next 100 days.
