Hannah Zimmerman is a senior vocal major and honors student at LaGuardia High School in NYC. She currently sits on the Executive Boards of the Young Democratic Socialists of America, Manhattan Young Democrats, and The New York Progressive Action Network. She is employed as a political consulting intern for Organizing 2.0, a digital political consulting firm. Hannah has founded and served as president of the national Bernie Sanders-campaign-endorsed organization “High Schoolers for Bernie” as well as directed high school outreach for the National Bernie Sanders campaign in the State of New York. Her writings have been published internationally by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Foundation, and she has spoken on news networks both domestically and internationally. She is the subject of two documentaries, the first produced by CUNY, and the second by the Sorbonne University in France. During the Summer of 2016, Hannah served as a member of the Democratic National Convention’s National Credentials Committee, making her the historically youngest member of the National Delegation at sixteen years old.
