Christina Isnardi

Labor Caucus Chair

Christina Isnardi

As Labor Chair, Christina helps organize canvassing drives and phone banks for pro-union candidates for local, state, and federal offices. She currently works at a New York-based law firm that exclusively represents workers and unions on a wide range of labor-related matters, particularly as they relate to the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, and New York Labor Law. She is an advocate for intern rights: she lobbied for the introduction of an unprecedented federal bill that would extend civil rights protections to unpaid interns, which was later introduced and unanimously passed by the U.S. House of Representatives. She also testified in front of the New York City Council Civil Rights Committee to extend these same protections to unpaid interns in New York City, which was signed into law in April 2014.
